Behind the Process

This series marks the shift of when I began working strictly within color film photography. During this time I was learning how to develop and print my own images, which added this visceral and physical experience when creating still imagery. Also during this time, I was finally becoming more aware and involved in the South Florida creative scene; capturing the unique process that goes into making these productions that shape our city come to life. As I began to observe more from behind the scenes of photoshoots and painting studio visits, etc; I became more fond of the different narratives and steps that are key to producing many authentic creative projects. Many artists, specifically photographers rarely get to view themselves as they work and with this series I wanted to change that.
